These are some first rate friends from work. Aud (not to be confused with my sister Aud ) is a hostess, so we get to work together. Where ever Aud is, there is lots of talk and laughter. Sharon WAS a table cleaner and buffet girl - yesterday was her last day. She has a new job and we are going to miss her amazing singing of fish commercials on fish night, her stimulating conversations at break time and her jokes about my car being 'Tuckered' out.

 :: I miss...Sharla. My buddy. Pal. Fellow writer-of-letters. She has a great sense of humor. ::  :: I miss...Amber, Tabs and Heather...I REALLY miss these girls. The late night talks and laughing in our pillows so the guys in the next room won't hear us. ::  :: I miss...All of these grand people...the games of Wink and Poor Pussy and ice cream eating times. ::  :: I miss... Liz, Judith, Hannah and Tabs- the walks around the church and good times!!! ::  :: I miss...these kids. I haven't seen them for almost 2 years and I haven't been out to visit them in 3 years. ::  :: I miss...this crazy girl. I need her here to help me sing when the radio gets the words wrong on my favorite songs. ::  :: I miss...Grandma and Grandpa Seevers. Even if they aren't really my grandparents.:: :: I miss...Micha. Our 'brother' from Germany. He actually is coming to see us in August!!! ::

 :: Trevor turned the ripe old age of 4 on Tuesday. My good friend Amy from NY spent some time at our place this past week.  ~We went fabric shopping. Didn't get any because all the nice fabric was above what we thought was reasonable. We DID spend a lot of time admiring it in the store. ~We watched October Baby. REALLY good movie!!!  ~We stayed up till 2 AM talking. Um. Yeah. Amy and I both like to talk and we don't see each other very often. ~We went to a cool bakery and tried all of their samples and bought doughnuts. MMM!!! 

I came across this picture of an acquaintance of mine in a dress that I LOVED. But I didn't have her pattern... However, I DID have the pattern from my bridesmaid dress and it had some similarities to the dress above ^^... So...with the help of Kaylee (see post below) we modified my pattern and used the picture I had as a map of sorts and this was the finished product. I really love the way it turned out!!!

Our good friend Kaylee came all the way from Vermont for a 2 week stay. Kaylee and I are both a bit...blonde...so we had some great times and adventures together. ~ Taking Josh's car to get new tires...ok, so we didn't know what kind of car it was. We just told the tire guys that it was the purple one that was parked crooked. ~ Singing LOUDLY and off tune with our favorite songs. You know, sometimes those songs get the lyrics wrong. But we sang them right. =) ~ Watching movies and laughing hysterically over scenes while our poor sisters sit there blankly. Apparently they aren't quite up to our level of humor. ~ Made two dresses - one in 4hrs & one in 3hrs....Ok. Well, Kaylee made them. She can't stand the way I sew. And I was more then happy to keep her amused and be there for the fittings. Thanks, Kaylee, I love the dress!!! (Because she wasn't there to rescue it in time, the 1st dress has a rather LARGE neck.) ~ Went shopping together several t...
