Sunday

This past Sunday my church had an outdoor service and a whole entire day of fun. It was epic. (Overused word, I know.) Games were played. Soft ball. Volley ball. Prisoners base. Frisbee. There was lots and lots and lots of conversation. And singing. And laughter. We crack ourselves up over how completely hilarious we are. And there was sunshine. Most of us got burnt like toast. Have I mentioned that it was amazing?! There is just something about a group of people who love Jesus and love each other. The joy is overflowing.

 You have to hear this group. They sound amazing together. And that's my own Jess on the far right. Gorgeous Rosanna with the golden voice is next to her, with her handsome husband, Bradley. That is Silas on the left. All of these grand people that I am proud to know.

 Jeremy and Jared...brothers who are talented like you wouldn't believe. They have their own music cd out. In fact, more then one.
 The bubble machine was a stroke of genious. Who doesn't love bubbles floating through the air?!
This is me, of course, with my second to youngest brother Trevor (on the right) and his very best friend, Kurt. They are a month apart in age and have been best buddies since they were born. 
Just had to put this picture in. Here is Dominique. Really, you have to see him in real life. His eyes, his hair, his adorable little outfits. He is like a baby model. Melt-worthy!!!

I thought it would be fun to do a post on being a waitress. I wish I could say that I wrote all of these. I didn't. This group of people are the best. We got to hang out all weekend. (They even came to visit me at work. Bless their hearts.)  :: Out for a little Sunday drive. This is how we roll. (Also how we get the neighbors to look.) ::  :: We look normal... ::  ::...but we aren't...::  ::Want to know how you almost get kicked out of the Walmart parking lot??? Try doing this sort of thing in front of the store. ::   Yup. It was a blast. Some of things we did: Volley ball (until we were sick of it) Ice cream (yum!) Do NOT sit on TOP of the picnic tables. It makes the workers grumpy. (Who knew that was against the rules?) Rides in my new car (Isn't he adorable?) The guys found a new way of making the tires squeal. Lift the car from the back, rev it up and drop it. It works!!! The telling of lots of lame jokes ('Shut up turkey, I know what I'm doing.') Amish Wedding

A good friend from work got married this week. It was my first Amish wedding. It was fascinating and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Even down to the hard benches we sat on for the ceremony.  A lot of us waitresses and past waitresses were servers for lunch and supper. We literally laughed all day. Somehow, no matter how different we are, working together has made us all close friends. Aren't the colors pretty? Huge thank you to my friend Lynn for sewing this dress for me.  Sadly I wasn't able to sneak a picture of the bride as she was surrounded by people all day.
